our story
Briar & Main® – The Patisserie was founded by Alia Pierson, a luxury cake designer and entrepreneur with a passion for hospitality, beautiful desserts, and meaningful celebrations.
Alia began her journey in 2002 in San Diego, where she and her husband launched the city’s first chocolate fountain and dessert catering company. What started as a creative venture soon grew into a full-service luxury cake boutique serving clients across Washington State, Canada, and Arizona.
Today, Briar & Main – The Patisserie creates handcrafted cakes, macarons, cupcakes, and small-batch confections inspired by the charm and elegance of European-style cake boutiques. Every dessert is made from scratch using quality ingredients and thoughtfully designed to create memorable experiences.
Our desserts are available primarily by pre-order, with pickup from the Briar & Main Travel & Patisserie Studio in Tucson. We hold weekly pop-ups as well at the studio.
At Briar & Main, we believe desserts have a special way of bringing people together, and we’re honored to be part of life’s sweetest moments.
