our story
Briar & Main®-the patisserie was founded by Alia Pierson, a luxury cake designer and entrepreneur. In 2002, Alia began her catering journey in San Diego, where she and her husband opened the city’s first chocolate fountain and dessert catering business. Her passion for pastries and design soon evolved into a full-service luxury cake boutique, serving clients from Washington State, Canada, and Arizona. Today, Alia is dedicated to creating desserts that capture the elegance and charm of a European-style cake boutique, and she’s thrilled to bring that experience to Tucson.
Formerly known as "Crumbs Cake Boutique," Alia rebranded the business alongside her sister company, Briar & Main Travel Boutique. This connection allows them to infuse their bakery with inspiration from the incredible desserts they experience during their travels.
